Hi,

Can 'like mange' mean 'as many' in certain contexts? The ST is below:

Bombingen hadde da tatt livet av nesten 30 000 briter og skadet like mange.

TT: The bombing had by then taken the lives of nearly 30,000 British people and
injured as many.

yes =) "like mange" is describing a number equal to something else, ie. from
your text there was nearly 30 000 killed and nearly 30 000 injured.
