sun rise

A new day, born
longs to scintilate
a star in magenta wear
Hope to descend to meet me.

I yearn to stroll
seeing the trees and feeling the branches
dreaming of yesterday's memories
and wishing tomorrow will never arrive.

Evergreen leaves
Popping like baloons.
Cherries, weightless like feathers
Peace, a star in the middle of the day.
