[de poder, de ser????] |
hola, que significa expresiónes como "de poder", "de ser"? por ejemplo: "Fernando VII acababa DE SER restituido al trono." y "y la invasión crea un vacío DE PODER"??? Reply #1 From: cwjohan (cwjohan[@]gmail.com) Date: 13/03/2005-22:16 Se dice en Inglés, "power vacuum". Reply #2 From: cwjohan (cwjohan[@]gmail.com) Date: 13/03/2005-22:23 "vacío DE PODER" significa "power vacuum" or "absence of power". "DE PODER" generally in this sort of context generally refers to power, dominion, presence. "DEL PODER" is a more common usage. "DE SER" probably refers to being, presence, and possibly dominion. Reply #3 From: Emma (emmgigi@hotmail.com) Date: 15/03/2006-22:51 The verb "acabar"(to finish) requires the preposition "de" when used with a secondary action, and its meaning becomes "have/has just". Acaba de ser destituido First action- to finish, second action - to be dethroned Translation: he's just been dethroned Easier examples: Acaba de llegar - He's just arrived Acabo de comer - I've just eaten Ok, nå skal jeg prøve på norsk! Don't laugh! Når du bruker "acabar" med en andre verb, du må bruker "de" som bindeledd mellom begge verber. Det betyr "har nettopp + ...." Acabo de comer - jeg har nettopp spist I hope this helps you! Kos! Emma |
