seeing the trees and feeling the branches

Evergreen leaves
Popping like baloons.
Cherries, weightless like feathers
Peace, a star in the middle of the day.

It's a Norwegian lullaby, part of it; my mother used to sing it to me as a
child; there's more to it but here is the translation for the part
you posted:

"Vi har ei tulle med øyne blå"

Vi har ei tulle med øyne blå, 
med silkehår og med ører små, 
og midt i fjeset en liten nese 
så stor som så. 

"We have a little baby girl with blue eyes 
with silky hair and with tiny ears 
and in the middle of the face a little nose 
as big as this..."
