Hello to you all.

Do any of you know approximately how many hours of English were tough in the
Norwegian primary and lower secondary school (grade 1-9 following the "old"
curriculum) in total? It's been a while since I went through it myself but I
assume it was something like this:

5. grade 2 hours per week
6. grade 3 hours per week
7. grade 4 hours per week
8. grade 5 hours per week
9. grade 5 hours per week

As one school year is made up by 38 weeks, this would give a total tally of 722
hours.

Can anyone give me some input on this? I need the figure quite urgently.

Thanks for your help!

Arne

Yes, English can be "tough" sometimes... :-)

You mean "was taught", not "was tough".

Sorry I can't help with your question (being a native English speaker...)
