Hello. I've seen since many years that the word "Doom" means in spanish "Maldito", as an adjetive. However, i've been discussing with friends that "doom" means "destiny (destino)", or "death (muerte)", and i was looking for many internet dictionaries and looks like "doom" means really "destiny". Who has right? Thanks for reply in advance.
The following is the most common meaning and application: I nombre 1 (terrible destino) perdición, fatalidad a prophet of doom, un pájaro de mal agüero 2 muerte II vtr usu pasivo condenar: we are all doomed, estamos perdidos -- Source: Diccionario Espasa Concise © 2000 Espasa Calpe
